Esqidos New Gel Liner

Howdy Friends Its been awhile!!

I had to pop back in and share this amazing new product with you from Esqido. If you follow me on Instagram, you may have watched my Story giving a sneak peak of the new gel liners. (if you missed it you can catch it in the beauty highlights).

Friday, Bert and I went to a local concert (sans kids) and I decided to put the eye liner to the ultimate test. If you’re familiar with MD summers you know they’re hot and muggy! So I’m happy to report that the liner stayed put through all the singing and dancing!

“just wing it. life, eyeliner, everything”

Overall, the liner applied very smooth, and once it sets, it’s pretty smudge proof. It does come off easily with makeup remover. I think my favorite thing about the new product is the built-in sharpener, so it’s always ready to go with a couple twists. Convenience is huge for me!

Right now you can get these liners at special pricing!!! Click here for more info.

For this look I wanted some warm tones and a smokey liner. With this liner you have to work quickly because once it “dries” it pretty much stays in place. I applied a thin line of Esqidos black liner, and used my Sigma E21  brush to smudge it out on the upper lid. Then I applied a small amount on the lower lash line for a more defined look.

Hershey Park with kids 5 and under

Hershey Park. The Sweetest place on Earth (literally lol).

Let me first say that My husband and I are always impressed with just how clean the park is, and how friendly the staff is. It’s definitely one of our favorite places to visit.

The next thing we love, is that all the rides for smaller children are mostly toward the front of the park. Lucy and Reece are under 5, so this is so convenient. Anytime you don’t have to push a double stroller further than you have to=greatness!

The last time we went to Hershey Lucy was a minitaure. She grew alot. This is how you measure to see what rides you can ride! ALl the rides are labeled so you know before you stand in line, if its something you can do!

Another thing they have there is zoo america. It is a little gem tucked away inside the park! The kids loved it. All the animals were out and about, and their habitats were very nicely kept. The kids loved watching the bears swim around in their pool. One swam right up to the window and was playing with a ball. It was really cool!

Hershey Lodge was amazing. To be honest we could have spent a day here lounging by the pool! Lucy loved Water works, which is an indoor water park at the lodge! Our room was very nice and the beds were pretty comfy. Not to mention that the chocolate in the room!! The arcade was also fun with a variety of games for all ages. The candy machine was Reece’s pick lol. I really liked the shuttle service they offered to the park. The wait time was not long!

hershey lodge

Hershey factory really brought me back to when I was a kid. It was really cool to go back and see how much it has changed. I still love the ride that explains the history of Hershey and how each candy is made. It was a fun little ride that we all took together, and we all learned something to. Lucy was amazed at how much chocolate is made everyday!!

Hershey Garden was our last stop. I was personally amazed at the flower gardens. All different shades of roses and numerous other flowers. The kids really enjoyed the butterfly Atrium. This is a nice space where butterflys are free to fly around. one even landed on me and hung out for awhile! It was a neat experience.

I think Hershey is a magical place that’s suitable for any age. We stayed for 3 days and 2 nights. We are already thinking about our next trip! Not to mention the drive there is pretty to!!

SO, have you visited Hershey yet!?

Esqido Lash review

If you ask me what my absolute favorite beauty product is (aside from lipstick) it’s lashes!!

Eye lashes can take any look from drab to fab! (ok that’s totally cheesy but it’s so true, take a look at my before and after below!)

If your lucky enough to have long, thick, curly lashes, I envy you! But if your like me, and 90% of the population you need them every now and then. I usually will wear lashes for special occasions, or date night. I just love the way it can change your whole look.

I’ve used many brands of false lashes and I must say I am very impressed with Esqido

First and foremost the lashes are mink, so they’re soft. Not hard like some other brands out there! So they don’t feel uncomfortable on the eye.

Another thing I was very impressed with was the lash glue. It dries clear and is easy to work with. I have extremely sensitive eyes and I found that the glue did not cause any irritation.

Oh and did I mention the packaging!? i know that isn’t a huge deal…but I’m all about aesthetic!

life is short , your lashes shouldn’t be

here’s my tips for application:

  • First things first, you have to pick a style. Esqiudo offers a quiz you can take to help you select the perfect pair!
  • Apply a tiny amount of mascara. Too much will make things look clumpy. I apply a small amount because I have super blonde lashes, so i do this
  • Curl your natural lashes! this will help everything blend together.
  • Gently remove lashes from the tray.
  • Hold the lash up to eye and trim off excess from the outer corner with a small scissor, if needed.
  • Apply a thin layer of lash glue to the base. (pay no mind to my nails, this mama is DUE for a mani)

  • Blow on the glue, and let it set for about 30 seconds
  • I like to use an eyelash tweezer to apply, but this can be tricky for beginners. using your fingers is absolutely fine!
  • Start at center of the eye holding the lashes upward.  In a downward motion getting the false lashes as close to your lash line as possible, press into the center gently. Then use your tweezers or fingers to press into inner and outer corners.

Remember practice makes perfect! Falsies can be tricky!! The more you do it the better you get!

Do you wear false lashes? If so, whats your favorite brand?

Bunny Tail Mix

Appetizers Snacks

Bunny Tail Mix

Lucy is always wanting to help out in the kitchen! I found an easy recipe on Pinterest that she could easily create on her own with just a little supervision from me!  I decided to leave out a couple of ingredients and just used what I had on hand!

You will need:

Just mix all ingredients in a large bowl and serve!! Store in an air tight container.

This fun little mix is the perfect snack for Easter, and keeping little hands busy!

*Disclaimer* this is EXTREMELY addicting! I highly recommend making it and stashing it away!!

I hope you have as much fun as we did, throwing this together!

Things to do in Las Vegas

I’m no expert when it comes to Vegas, but I can surely say this aint my first rodeo lol! We’ve been to Sin City 4x now, and there is still SO much more I want to do there! I wanted to highlight a few things that were our favorite!

First off, If you plan to travel here I definitely recommend researching what you want to do before you get there. Because once your there, you may become overwhelmed with the possibilities.

We have stayed at Planet Hollywood, MGM Grand, the Flamingo and Paris. While each hotel was beautiful and unique in its own way, our favorite place was the Flamingo. Its one of the older hotels on the strip, but its location is perfect. Everything within the hotel is nicely spaced out, so when your walking you’re not constantly dodging other people. It’s also right next to the Linq Promenade , which is a great spot to hang out. There is a bunch of restaurants, bars, shops, and the observation wheel there. AND did I mention In and out burger!?  In addition, the Flamingo smells amazing! I know that is something odd to comment about, but seriously it smells great haha. They also have a beautiful little courtyard with real flamingos, and other pieces of nature that is just serene. It’s definitely a nice way to start your day! I could just go on and on about this hotel, it was a great place to stay!

Fremont Street is  a must see. The entire sky lights up while being in sync to a classic tune. You can zip line down and see everything, and there’s a ton of buffets!!

Walking the strip is something you just have to do. Make sure you wear comfy shoes because its a lot of walking. I mean A LOT. There is so much to see and you could literally spends hours in 1 hotel (trust me I know).

See the fountains at The Bellagio. They usually start around dusk. If you decide to stay at Paris you may score a room that has a view of the fountains! Ours did and it was amazing! While your there be sure to walk inside to the conservatory. Its right in the main lobby, and it’s stunning. Typically they change the theme per season. This last time we were there it was November, and one of the main attractions was a peacock made almost entirely out of roses. It was incredible. And its free!

The Hoover dam is about 45 minutes out of Vegas. If you decide to make the trip I highly recommend it! It’s an amazing sight! I wish I had pictures to share.

My pick for shopping is the Miracle mile shops inside Planet Hollywood. There are all kinds of shops for everyone! You can also catch a rain show right in the middle of the mall. Don’t worry though, you won’t get wet!

Lets talk about food. If you love food, you will love Vegas. You can eat very cheap, or extravagant. I highly recommend The Stratosphere (meal with an amazing view) Inside Paris , Gordon Ramsey’s Steak is divine. My husband and I were lucky to score some bar seats, and the food was out of this world. The Mac n’ cheese was the best I’ve ever had in my life lol.  Some cheaper options we enjoyed were Toby Keith’s I Love this bar and grill at Harrah’s and Yolo’s   in Planet Hollywood.

The night life in Vegas is like no other. We aren’t much of the partying crowd anymore but one of our favorite spots for a drink is The Chandelier bar at the Cosmopolitan. It’s a 3- level lounge, and you literally sit inside of a chandelier!! You also have to go to see a show! Every hotel has options, but I recommend shopping around for the best prices online. My favorite show was Beatles Love at The Mirage I may be biased since I’m a huge Beatles fan, but it was incredible. I literally cried.

Perhaps one of our favorite things to do, that is totally free is people watching. There are so many unique people in Vegas. Just be weary of all the people dressed up. You may want a picture with them, but they are expecting a tip from you! So just keep that in mind.

Even flying to Vegas is beautiful, you cross over a bunch of Canyons, so grab a window seat if you can! Flying in at night is really cool with all the lights!!

The next time we go, I want to do a helicopter ride, and a gondola ride at the Venetian!

Have you been to Vegas? What’s some of your favorite things to do there?

Delite Whitening Review

Delite Whitening Review

Coffee. Tea. Chocolate (only sometimes hehe).

These are all the culprits for making my teeth, not so pearly white!

(keep scrolling to see my results)

I’m always looking for ways to brighten my smile, so I was eager to give this at home whitening kit a try! As a mom, I’m all about convenience!! The fact I didn’t have to pack 2 kids up and head to the dentist was a major plus!

Here are my honest thoughts about this product:

Delite whitening was easy to use, and the instructions were clear.  There wasn’t all these steps or hoops you had to jump through. You fill the tray with the whitening gel, and then place it in your mouth for about 15 – 20 minutes. There is also a light you can use to see faster results. I typically used the light for the first 10 minutes, and then start to get ready for the remainder of the time.

With using this product, like many, consistency is key. If you want to see results you have to follow the instructions and use it everyday for 5-10 days. While using the kit I did cut down on my coffee intake, as recommended on the box! Surprisingly, that was not as hard as I thought it would be!!

Delite Whitening is also FDA approved and made in USA!

The first couple of days my teeth were a little sensitive, but this dissipated by the 3rd use.  Overall I was very pleased with this system, and I would recommend it to a friend!

Apologies for the up close and personal mug of my teeth haha! but I wanted you to see the difference!

*results will vary. I am not a healthcare provider. Always check with your dentist before you use any at home whitening kit!!

Teami Blends Detox Results

If you’ve followed me on Instagram, then you know I’ve been on a mission to get back down to my pre baby weight. Losing the weight from my second pregnancy was not as easy as the first. *Le Sigh.

keep reading to see my before and after pictures!

Here’s the Skinny~

I started the 30 day detox pack about a month ago, and needless to say I am beyond thrilled with my results. It’s exactly what I needed to lose those stubborn last 10lbs.

The detox pack is a 2 step system which includes the skinny tea and the colon tea. You begin with the skinny tea first. Making it is super simple!! You boil about a cup of water to 1 tsp of the tea leaves. You can drink the skinny tea 1-3x per day.  I added just a pinch of honey to my tea. Sweet tea is my weakness. But in order for the tea to work properly I knew that adding sugar was a no no!!

On the second day, you add the colon tea blend about an hour before you go to sleep. I used to have issues with bloating, and this step helped tremendously. Being somewhat sensitive to caffeine,  I worried that drinking the tea before bed would keep me awake, but I had no issues at all. I could never drink a cup of coffee late at night or else I would be awake.

They also have cute tumblers available as well. I loved the convenience of the strainer that came with it. A lot of times I was making my tea on the go so that came in very handy.

I think what I enjoyed most about this experience is how much better I felt afterwards. The tea truly gave me energy and helped to suppress my appetite.

I would highly recommend Teami Blends!! Not to mention they’re reasonably priced, and the customer service is amazing.

I’m proud to say that with the help of this delicious tea I am officially back down to my pre baby weight!  I used this system in conjunction with better eating habits.

Check out their website here

exactly 30 days apart. I can tell a huge difference in my mid section!
