4 months post-partum, and 10lbs to go! I had the opportunity to work with ailihen headsets, and it couldn’t have come at a better time! I needed something to help kick start my motivation.

Not only are they colorful and fun, but they’re also collapsible. This makes storing them so easy! Not to mention they’re super comfortable  The headsets are light weight and durable. That’s very important to me lately since most of my working out includes my children!

Valentine’s Hugged Pretzels | The Random Arrow

Happy Valentine’s Day!

I can remember making these treats as a kid, so I decided to share the love with my 4 year old, who has become obsessed with helping mommy in the kitchen.  These Hugged Pretzel’s are the perfect combination of salty and sweet.

You will need:

  • 1 bag of Valentines M&M’s
  • 1 bag of Snyder’s Butter Snap Pretzels
  • 1 bag of Hershey’s Hugged Kisses
  1. Pre heat oven to 300 degrees F.
  2. Line a baking sheet with wax paper.
  3. As oven preheats, neatly place pretzels on baking sheet. (I used a 15″ pan, so I used almost half a bag of pretzels.)
  4. Count how many pretzels you used and unwrap that many Hershey’s Hugs.
  5. Place in oven for 2 1/min.
  6. Pull pan out of oven and let sit for less than a minute.
  7. Gently press M&Ms into the Hershey hugs.
  8. Place in refrigerator for about an hour.
  9. Store in an air tight container.
  10. Enjoy!

Cheesecake Truffles

Cheesecake Truffles

I made these truffles by accident one day. I originally had planned to make the famous Oreo truffles, but when I opened the pantry I discovered that someone had eaten most of the Oreos….(insert eye roll here). So I saw the box of graham cracker crumbs and decided to give it a whirl. These little truffles are very addictive!

You will need:

  • 3 cups graham cracker crumbs (hold about 1/3 cup to the side if you wish to top truffles)
  • 12 oz softened cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 package melting chocolate (my favorite is Candiquik, it’s so easy to melt and you can melt it right in the container)
  1. Line a baking sheet with wax paper.
  2. Mix the cream cheese, powdered sugar and graham cracker crumbs together in a bowl.
  3. using a table spoon, scoop out some of the mixture and roll it into a ball.
  4. After desired amount is made, refrigerate for about 30 minutes.
  5. Follow melting instructions on package.
  6. Using two forks, dip and roll the ball mixture into the chocolate.
  7. Sprinkle remaining graham cracker crumbs before chocolate hardens.
  8. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator after all chocolate hardens.
  9. Enjoy!!

Chocolate Fudge Recipe

My friend shared this recipe with me last year, after several failed Pinterest attempts to make fudge.

O.M.G. is it easy, and so delicious! Who doesn’t love some good ole fashioned fudge! I enjoy making this recipe around the holidays and sticking some pieces in the cookie tins I give away to people. It’s genius really, because I would sit and eat the entire pan, haha!

You Will Need:

  • 1/2 cup evaporated milk
  • 1/2 cup margarine
  • 20 large marshmallows
  • 2 1/4 cup  sugar
  • 12 oz bag chocolate chips
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  1. Combine evaporated milk, margarine, sugar, and marshmallows in a sauce pan and bring to a boil.
  2. Boil 5 minutes constantly, low heat. stir frequently.
  3. Remove pan from heat.
  4. Add bag chocolate chips and vanilla
  5. Stir well and pour into buttered 8×8 pan
  6. Let cool completely, and cut into squares
  7. Enjoy!

Maybe you could leave some out for Santa this year!!

Lace Up Sweater

Lace Up Sweater

Hello Loves!

It has been way to long since my last post! I went on a bit of a hiatus, but I’m back and have been working on some fun things!

I wanted to share this awesome top c/o ZAFUL.

Sweaters are my jam, beginning in the fall and all through the winter. The lace up detail and bell sleeves are my favorite thing about this sweater.

This particular top is OS. I’m about 21 weeks pregnant in these pictures and it fits perfectly. I was at that stage where you couldn’t  tell if I was pregnant or just ate to many cheeseburgers (preggos you know what I’m talking about lol). The sweater was baggy but still flattering.

I decided to pair it with one of my favorite hats, and matching heeled booties, for a casual, but cute look.

Neutral Tye Dye & Gladiator Sandals

Dress: Target || Shoes: Stitch Fix || Hat: Francescas (Similar Here) || Long Lasting Lip color in Dusty Rose: LipSense

As summer draws to a close, I start to break out my dresses which are perfect for transitioning to the fall. Which by the way is my FAVORITE season.

This dress is casual, and super comfy. The best end of summer dress. It’s tight-fitting until the hips, which elongates the waist. This is great for anyone who has short torso like me! I love the neutral Tye dye look. It gives the dress an edge. If you wanted, you could totally dress this up with booties and a leather jacket. Just sayin’.

As it gets colder, I will miss these gladiator sandals. I received them in a Stitch fix earlier this summer, and they quickly became one of my faves!

What’s your favorite end of summer style?
