Bunny Tail Mix

Lucy is always wanting to help out in the kitchen! I found an easy recipe on Pinterest that she could easily create on her own with just a little supervision from me!  I decided to leave out a couple of ingredients and just used what I had on hand!

You will need:

Just mix all ingredients in a large bowl and serve!! Store in an air tight container.

This fun little mix is the perfect snack for Easter, and keeping little hands busy!

*Disclaimer* this is EXTREMELY addicting! I highly recommend making it and stashing it away!!

I hope you have as much fun as we did, throwing this together!

Fried Pickles Recipe

Fried Pickle Recipe

Who ever came up with the idea of Fried Pickles, is seriously a genius. I mean pregnant women alone would probably kiss your feet. I did some experimenting in the kitchen I decided this was my favorite batch of fried pickles. After eating almost all of them in one sitting, I decided I won’t be making them again unless I have someone to share them with 🙂

You will need:

  • 1 jar dill pickle chips
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 tbsp. garlic
  • 1 tbsp. cayenne pepper
  • 1 tbsp. paprika
  • 1 tbsp. pepper
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp. milk
  1. Drain pickle chips in colander, but do not rinse. Mix together egg and milk.
  2. In a Ziploc bag add in the dry ingredients. Mix well.
  3. Dip pickle chips in egg mixture and drop into the bag of flour mixture. Gently shaking the bag each time you drop in a pickle.
  4. Take a pan and line it with wax paper. Place breaded pickle chips on lined pan. Refrigerate for 1 hour.
  5. Using a deep fryer, heat oil to about 375 degree F. Fry until golden brown
  6. For dipping sauce, I used the Hidden Valley Ranch Mix. I also added a little cayenne pepper to taste.
  7. Enjoy!

Creamy Avocado Dip

Appetizers Dips

Creamy Avocado Dip

Avocados pair so nicely with summertime.  I LOVE avocados. They’re one of my favorite things to eat. I also love cream cheese. So why not mix the 2 together and see what happens?

*Warning this dip is extremely addictive*

You will need:

  • 3 large Avocado’s
  • 2/3 cup cream cheese (I used whipped)
  • 4 finely chopped jalapenos (optional)
  • 1 tbsp. garlic
  • 1 tbsp. onion powder
  • 1 tbsp.  cayenne pepper
  1. Set cream cheese out, so its easier to work with, unless you’re using the whipped version.
  2. Start to mash the avocados, then add softened cream cheese. Stir until well blended.
  3. Mix in all ingredients. I choose to add in some jalapenos, because I love spicy stuff, but this is a completely optional step.
  4. Chill for about an hour before serving.
  5. Enjoy! This pairs nicely with Stacy’s Chips or Mission chips (see links below)
