DIY Sea Salt Spray

I think its safe to say that summer is in full force! If your hair is anything like mine say goodbye to a “tame” head with summers humidity.  During these warm months I usually find it easier to not waste time with styling my mane. I mean why bother? Once I walk outside I can literally feel my hair growing.

I love beach waves, and its my go to style when I decide not to blow dry.  After playing around with some different products I concocted a spray that not only smells amazing, but also works great for my locks!

You will need:

16 oz glass spray bottle

1 funnel

1 1/2 cups Distilled water/ Warm water

1 1/2 tbsp hair gel

1 tsp Aloe Vera gel

1 1/2 tbsp Sea salt

2 tsp Avocado oil

5 drops Rosemary essential oil

5 drops Lavender essential oil

5 drops Geranium essential oil

Once you’re out of the shower, gently pat your hair down with a towel. Then generously spray the sea salt spray all over. Sometimes I will braid or twist my locks while its drying just to give it some extra wave, but that’s optional.

“You have to have fun with hair. It’s a great accessory-Play with it”- Serge Normant

You don’t have to hit the beach everyday to get this textured look! Do you have any homemade hair concoctions you use? I’d love to know!!!

Sugar Bear Hair Vitamins

Sugar Bear Hair Vitamins | The Random Arrow

All opinions expressed here are my own

For about 3 months I have used these wonderful vitamins. Not only are they delicious, they are pretty darn cute to. When you hear of vitamins that  claim to make you hair grow, you’re always a little skeptical. I can honestly say I’ve noticed a big difference in my hair.  My hair is stronger, healthier and has grown about 1.5″ (I had a hair cut in month 2).

Hair growth isn’t the only thing I’ve noticed. My hair is very fine, so it tangles easily. When I would comb my hair I felt like clumps would just come out. Since I started the vitamins and have taken them consistently, I feel as if that has minimized. I’ve noticed my nails are different to. They’re stronger, and grow pretty quickly.

I’ve added the vitamins to my morning regimen, and they taste so good its like a little treat in the morning! All you do is take 2 a day. It’s recommended to take the vitamins for 90 days to see the best results.

Sugar Bear Hair Vitamins are gluten-free, soy free and best of all cruelty free. They’re made without artificial sweeteners or artificial flavors. Anyone can use these vitamins! Not to mention that they are full of Folic Acid, Biotin, and Vitamin C.
