Delite Whitening Review

Coffee. Tea. Chocolate (only sometimes hehe).

These are all the culprits for making my teeth, not so pearly white!

(keep scrolling to see my results)

I’m always looking for ways to brighten my smile, so I was eager to give this at home whitening kit a try! As a mom, I’m all about convenience!! The fact I didn’t have to pack 2 kids up and head to the dentist was a major plus!

Here are my honest thoughts about this product:

Delite whitening was easy to use, and the instructions were clear.  There wasn’t all these steps or hoops you had to jump through. You fill the tray with the whitening gel, and then place it in your mouth for about 15 – 20 minutes. There is also a light you can use to see faster results. I typically used the light for the first 10 minutes, and then start to get ready for the remainder of the time.

With using this product, like many, consistency is key. If you want to see results you have to follow the instructions and use it everyday for 5-10 days. While using the kit I did cut down on my coffee intake, as recommended on the box! Surprisingly, that was not as hard as I thought it would be!!

Delite Whitening is also FDA approved and made in USA!

The first couple of days my teeth were a little sensitive, but this dissipated by the 3rd use.  Overall I was very pleased with this system, and I would recommend it to a friend!

Apologies for the up close and personal mug of my teeth haha! but I wanted you to see the difference!

Teami Blends Detox Results

F

If you’ve followed me on Instagram, then you know I’ve been on a mission to get back down to my pre baby weight. Losing the weight from my second pregnancy was not as easy as the first. *Le Sigh.

Here’s the Skinny~

I started the 30 day detox pack about a month ago, and needless to say I am beyond thrilled with my results. It’s exactly what I needed to lose those stubborn last 10lbs.

The detox pack is a 2 step system which includes the skinny tea and the colon tea. You begin with the skinny tea first. Making it is super simple!! You boil about a cup of water to 1 tsp of the tea leaves. You can drink the skinny tea 1-3x per day.  I added just a pinch of honey to my tea. Sweet tea is my weakness. But in order for the tea to work properly I knew that adding sugar was a no no!!

On the second day, you add the colon tea blend about an hour before you go to sleep. I used to have issues with bloating, and this step helped tremendously. Being somewhat sensitive to caffeine,  I worried that drinking the tea before bed would keep me awake, but I had no issues at all. I could never drink a cup of coffee late at night or else I would be awake.

They also have cute tumblers available as well. I loved the convenience of the strainer that came with it. A lot of times I was making my tea on the go so that came in very handy.

I think what I enjoyed most about this experience is how much better I felt afterwards. The tea truly gave me energy and helped to suppress my appetite.

I would highly recommend Teami Blends!! Not to mention they’re reasonably priced, and the customer service is amazing.

I’m proud to say that with the help of this delicious tea I am officially back down to my pre baby weight!  I used this system in conjunction with better eating habits.

Sugar Bear Hair Vitamins

Sugar Bear Hair Vitamins | The Random Arrow

All opinions expressed here are my own

For about 3 months I have used these wonderful vitamins. Not only are they delicious, they are pretty darn cute to. When you hear of vitamins that  claim to make you hair grow, you’re always a little skeptical. I can honestly say I’ve noticed a big difference in my hair.  My hair is stronger, healthier and has grown about 1.5″ (I had a hair cut in month 2).

Hair growth isn’t the only thing I’ve noticed. My hair is very fine, so it tangles easily. When I would comb my hair I felt like clumps would just come out. Since I started the vitamins and have taken them consistently, I feel as if that has minimized. I’ve noticed my nails are different to. They’re stronger, and grow pretty quickly.

I’ve added the vitamins to my morning regimen, and they taste so good its like a little treat in the morning! All you do is take 2 a day. It’s recommended to take the vitamins for 90 days to see the best results.

Sugar Bear Hair Vitamins are gluten-free, soy free and best of all cruelty free. They’re made without artificial sweeteners or artificial flavors. Anyone can use these vitamins! Not to mention that they are full of Folic Acid, Biotin, and Vitamin C.

Have you tried Sugar Bear hair? What are your thoughts?

Night time Skin Regimen

skin care

Night time is one of the most important times to take care of your skin. This is the time to wash away all the stressors of everyday life and allow for new cells to grow.

To me, there is something so relaxing about washing my face, brushing my teeth and putting on my pajamas. Here is my night time skin routine that leaves my skin feeling hydrated and looking healthy.

Coconut oil- I love the meme’s that talk about putting that sh*t on everything, because that is me!   It is such a great natural moisturizer. There are a couple different kinds of coconut oil  but the best kind to get for your skin is organic, raw, and cold pressed. When coconut oil is heated it loses a lot of those natural nutrients that benefit your skin. My favorite brand is Pure Planet.

Lavender Essential Oil-I’m a huge fan of essential oils. Lavender is one of my favorites as it helps to induce sleep and relaxation. I just dab a couple drops on to my chest and rub some on my temples. I even put some on my daughter’s skin and feet to help her sleep.  Young living is my favorite brand of essential oils, but there are many different kinds, just be sure they are safe to apply to the skin.

Facial wipes- There are many facial wipes out on the market, but my favorite is the Honest Company 3 in 1. It does an amazing job removing my make up, and makes my face feel so clean! They are infused with chamomile which is very soothing.

Eye cream-  When applying eye cream it’s good to put a couple small drops around the rim of the eye. Then gently tap it into the skin. This usually helps with fine lines, puffiness and dark circles. Different creams target different issues. Over the past few years, I’ve used many kinds of eye creams. Currently, I’m using Nourish Organic. This particular cream targets hydration, which has been great for the winter.

Exfoliation- Exfoliating is a very important step in skin care that is often overlooked. It’s not something you have to do everyday, but it is good to do it a couple of times a week. Using a gentle scrub can help to remove dead skin cells, and help stimulate new cells to grow.  Right now I’m using Scrub me. I can’t say enough nice things about this product. It can be used on the face or body. It smells delicious, and makes my skin feel amazing. I use it about 3 times a week.

what’s your night time skin regimen?

Ipsy Glam Bag ~ February Review

IMG_5401

Februarys Ipsy bag arrived a day later than it normally does, most likely due to the weather. I didn’t love the design of this bag as much as January’s but it was still a fabulous glam bag! I was pretty satisfied with all the products I received. My pick this month was Smashbox’s Photo Finish Primer Oil.

Promise Organic~Ultra Moisturizing Argan Creme Facial LotionIMG_5363

This lotion mostly made of Olive Oil and Argan was super moisturizing to my dry skin. I usually use coconut oil as a moisturizer, but I’m always open to trying new products. I decided to mix this product with some sunscreen for the perfect daytime creme.

Paula Dorf~ Baby Eyes EnhancerIMG_5361

If you ever want to highlight your eyes, I highly recommend this product. Using a light colored eye pencil on the rim of your eye really helps to brighten your face. This product is made with vitamin E so it doesn’t dry the eyes.

Luxie Beauty~ Flat Definer Brush 221IMG_5362

Just like shoes, a girl can never have to many makeup brushes! I always get excited to receive these in my glam bags, because good brushes can be pricey. This brush was perfect for eye lining. The brush is   cruelty and paraben free

Smashbox Cosmetics~ Photo Finish Primer OilIMG_5359

I have always been a fan of Smashbox cosmetics. Especially their Photo finish products. So when I saw this Primer Oil I instantly knew we would be friends. Before applying foundation it’s always a good idea to use a primer. It helps to soften the skin and minimize the appearance of pores. The Primer Oil was very hydrating. It contains Jojoba and Chamomile which are very soothing to the skin. It also can be used on the ends of your hair! I love when products have multiple uses!

Chella~ Lipstick PencilIMG_5360

I have become a huge fan of lipstick pencils. They are usually extremely moisturizing and long-lasting. I loved the way the Chella pencil applied. Overall a good product, however I wasn’t a huge fan of the color with my complexion.
